Jámia Khalid Bin Waleed (R.T.A) is an institution dedicated to Islamic religious education, operating since 2003 and belonging to the ITTEHADI UMMAT association, located on National Road No. 6, Bairro da Cerâmica-Beira, Mozambique.
It is taught for boys, Hifz course (memorization of the Koran), Alim training (Muslim theologians), as well as 6th to 12th grade for Hifz students.
Presently it has about 100 boarding students, whose expenses for accommodation, food, medical and medication services, etc., it is the entire responsibility of Jamia, and are borne by Muslim brothers who, through their donations in the form of zakat and lillah, make us achieve our goals.
The institute’s facilities include classrooms, dormitories with capacity for 100 students at the moment, kitchen, cafeteria, prayer room and space for sports.
In Jamia there are also approximately 40 external students, and already building classrooms, dormitories and teachers’ houses in another part of the same plot of Jamiah.
